Robin worked with Saxon Math 1.
He read independently, and I read to him.
Including a book featuring calypso music. The publisher also created an animated short film depicting the musical instruments shown in the book, so we watched that.
And discussed the geographic location of the Caribbean islands where calypso music originated. We also read more from Paul Salopek's travel log.

Robin attended his religious education classes today, learning about Mary, mother of Jesus, and about reincarnation.
He was quite excited to watch this live cam feed of a waterhole in Kenya: http://thearkcam1.click2stream.com/ (thanks, uncle Zack!) We observed elephants (including babies!), antelope (which Robin keeps mis-saying as 'cantelope'), and water buffalo.

Robin helped install a gas dryer, learning about tools, measurement, exhaust, etc.
We read an article about an experiment where researchers gave tiny shocks to people trying to learn math: http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2013/05/16/184544875/a-small-shock-to-the-system-may-help-brain-with-math
And we went to the library.
