Wednesday, October 8: 48/180

Robin started working with Life of Fred this week. He also read a Bob Book, and worked with Handwriting Without Tears and Explode the Code. I read to him: The Wall: Growing Up Behind the Iron Curtain by Peter Sís

Tuesday, October 7: 47/180

Robin attended his MAHC classes today, including Dungeons & Dragons, Board Games, and Hands-On History. He went to soccer practice!

Sunday, October 5: 46/180

Robin attended his religious education classes, which focused on the awe of discovering the world through science, and the UU sources. He exercised.

Saturday, October 4: 45/180

Robin and his brother spent most of the day independently building a ramp to use for doing jumps on a bike or a scooter. They collected scrap lumber from our available assortment, used power tools (drill, jig saw, circular saw, and miter saw - they only really needed supervision with the circular saw and miter saw), and designed and built it. Here is the end result:

They also attended a board game night at our congregation.

Robin worked with Saxon Math 3. He built something for fun with their linking cubes, too:

I read to Robin.  We were on a social studies kick:

He read a Bob Book to me, worked with Handwriting Without Tears, and with Explode the Code.

We experimented with having him work with Life of Fred instead of Saxon Math.  He really resents his lessons taking much longer than his brother's.

Robin did some scootering.
