Robin's story

Once upon a time, there was a little kid. Then he went Geocaching. Before he got there, a monster came up. Then the monster chased the boy all the way to the Geocache. The boy picked the Geocache up and ran away because he had no time to pick what to take out of the box. Then he got arrested, because you're not supposed to take the whole box away, are you?!?!

Art

Wolfy & I did some drawing while Matt took Robin down to the river (still gloriously frozen.) Day took a nap. When Robin got back, he wanted to draw, too. The big pale blue circle is God (see Wolfy's blog . . . Wolfy made God really big, so Robin made God bigger.) There's a grappling hook (upper right quadrant). And the blue zigzags are our river, the black zigzags are "Dooby's river" (i.e., the Potomac a few miles upstream in Accokeek.)

Way Behind On Blogging

So, a week ago Day (Robin's baby sister) got sick, and that pretty much absorbed all of our time and energy for several days. She is feeling much better, and the rest of us are slowly coming back into "normal" life.

The highlight of that time for Robin was probably going to the Home School Friends Showcase of Skills. He showed some of his art, and was part of the program as "Super Bomber Boy" doing tricks on a crib mattress he took to provide soft landings. Here are pictures!

Wol-F-y

This week Robin started saying "Wol-Fy" instead of "Wol-Y"!

Not ALL the time, but enough to know he knows how to do it.

He is very interested in our dehumidifier (borrowed for the winter). He loves to dump the water out.

And he learned recently that he really CAN build with Lincoln Logs if someone helps him with the foundation of the building.
