From June 13 - July 15 we drove 8,001 miles through 21 states! We visited 2 Great Lakes, many rivers, 6 National Parks, and two branches of our family. We only stayed in a hotel once, after a car breakdown far from any appropriate campground with electricity since it was too hot to go without air conditioning.
