We recognized the numerically interesting moment that was 1/21/21 at 21:21 by taking a family photo:

J finally got to make a plaster cloth face mask.  Her siblings did this activity when she was a baby and too small to participate!

Just realized I failed to enter these four books when I finished reading them to the girls, which was not this week.  Oh, well: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery

A Civics Education in Real Time (140/180)

 R helped build a fence for a friend's yard. 

J participated in her Puppetry, Ballet, Jazz, Tap and religious education classes.

D participated in her Snail Mail class.

R participated in his Time4Learning classes.

All were riveted by the civics news this week.

J and D worked with ETC, HWT, and read with support.

Saying Goodbye to Rags (135/180)

 

 R met with his religious education class to record a chalice lighting for the worship service.  He also attended the worships service and met with his class to discuss it.

D met with her religious education class.

Sadly, the main event of our week was saying goodbye to Rags, our 14 year old Old English Sheepdog mix.  We got him when W was 3, R was 1, and the girls have never known our family without him.  The kids were involved in every step of the process of euthanizing him gently at home with a traveling veterinarian.  

R and W were on winter break from their MC3 and Time4Learning courses.

D and J worked with ETC, HWT, Zearn math, and read with support.
