Virtual Church (180 + 3 weeks)

All the kids participated in their religious education classes as possible.  Here some of us are watching the service:

W read independently, worked with Khan, cooked healthy meals, and walked for exercise.

R read independently, worked with Khan and ETC, and practiced multiplication.

D read with support, and worked with Khan, ETC, and HWT.

J read with support and worked with Khan and HWT.

St. Patrick's Day and Monopoly (180 + 2 weeks)

This week started a much slower-paced time, due to the pandemic.

D got excited about St. Patrick's Day and made crafts and green themed foods!


We played Monopoly (lots of good math and strategy, some reading.)


We planted vegetables and sunflowers, some in an old canoe that's been cracked in our backyard for a year:

R read independently, worked with Khan and ETC, walked, and practiced multiplication.

Pandemic Week 1 (180 + 1 week)

R went to parkour.

J went to ballet.

All the kids went to their MAHC classes.

W went to his MC3 classes.

And then the pandemic arrived in Montgomery County.  By the end of the week, all in-person classes were cancelled.

The kids participated in scaled back religious education programming.

W read independently and worked with Khan.  He cooked healthy meals and walked for exercise.

R read independently, and worked with Khan and ETC and multiplication.

D read with support, and worked with Khan, ETC, and HWT.

J read with support, and worked with Khan and HWT.

Splits and a Rope Swing (183/180)

R went to Parkour.

J went to ballet, hip-hop, tap, and Carnival of the Animals rehearsal.

All the kids went to their MAHC classes.

W went to his MC3 classes.

D went to Staging Journeys and Circus.
