MLK Day of Service

Today Robin participated in an MLK Day of Service project.  He made breakfast bags for homebound elders, decorated notes to put in them, and rolled tablewear in napkins for a homeless shelter.  He also got a t-shirt. And learned about Rev. Dr. King.

Robin attended his religious education class.

He attended his indoor soccer practice.

Robin worked with Saxon Math 2.

I read to him:

A Song for CambodiaA Song for Cambodia by Michelle Lord

Clifford's ChristmasClifford's Christmas by Norman Bridwell

Little House in the Big Woods (Little House, #1)Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder

And for the first time in a long time, he read a book to me.  Only 5 words, but he did really well at figuring them out phonetically and independently:

Robin went to his MAHC classes: Magic School Bus, Model Airplanes, and also to the Philadelphia Center for Architecture with our Building Toys class to see the Constructing Play: Classic Building Toys exhibit.
